Drawing boxes is one of the best ways to practice drawing. Mechs are boxes, and I love Battletech, thus; I am drawing mechs!

That is the point of this exercise. Angular things like boxes punctuate your actual ability to work with forms in 3D space, which means they tell you immediately what you are doing wrong.
