How To Draw Pheasant: All Steps

In today’s tutorial, we will learn how to draw pheasant on paper. The location and proportion of each part will be observed in each step of the tutorial. Note that the blue lines are used to show the newest shapes being drawn in each in each of the steps.

Time Needed: 20 minutes

  1. Draw The Body

    Using your pencil, draw an oval-like shape in the middle of your paper.

  2. Outline The Neck And Head

    Then create the outline for the head and the neck, just like in the example.

  3. Add Bird Face Details

    The ring-necked pheasant has a stripe on its neck as well as small eyes and beak.

  4. Draw The Wings And Tail

    Next, add the feathery wings and tail on the right side of the body.

  5. Add The Feet

    Lastly, don’t forget to draw the pheasant’s feet below its body, similar to a chicken.

  6. Complete Your Drawing

    Now we can color the pheasant using brown, green, red, and orange crayons.
