How to Draw Dory

1. Prepare the base.

   Determine the size of your drawing and draw a figure of the same shape as in our example. At the initial stage, use only thin lines.

2. Add the fins and tail.

   At the bottom of the body, add two fins. Draw the tail that has a narrow base and a wide end.

3. Detail the upper body and draw the eyes.

   Focus on the auxiliary lines and circle the fish along the contour, giving it the desired shape. Draw the large round eyes.

4. Draw the lower part of the body.

   Continue adding the contours of the head and with the help of smooth lines draw the wide open mouth.

5. Depict the bottom fin.

   Use the lines you drew earlier as a guide and carefully trace the fin along the outline, giving it the desired shape.

6. Draw the lower outline of the body.

   With the help of a smooth line, sharpen the outline of the lower body. At the bottom, add the ventral fin along the bottom outline of the body.

7. Sketch out the second fin

   Use the guidelines and with the help of smooth lines give the second fin the desired shape.

8. Draw the tail.

   Use the lines you drew earlier as a guide and give the tail the desired shape.

9. Depict the back fin.

   Along the upper outline of the body draw the long fin, which consists of separate short segments.

10. Detail the eyes.

    In each eye sketch out the iris and in the middle add the pupil.

11. Detail the color.

    With the help of smooth lines, mark the outline where the body color will differ. Draw many stripes on the tail.

12. Correct inaccuracies.

    Compare your drawing with our example and if you notice any mistakes, correct them right away. Carefully remove the extra lines in your drawing.

13. Color the drawing.

    For coloring, you will need black, blue, and yellow. Color the iris pink.
